SBS's new drama "The Long Shot Trial" is a comedic legal-investigation series. It follows Kwon Baek (Lee Je-hoon), a former lawyer who now works as a law office manager, and his ragtag team as they turn seemingly unwinnable cases into victories through unconventional methods.
Lee Sang-woon will play Kim Woo-seok, a lawyer at Mujin, one of South Korea's top law firms.
Kim Woo-seok is an elite attorney known for his exceptional skills and sharp judgment. A realist who never lets opportunities or victories slip away; he tackles cases in his own distinctive way and is expected to bring tension and intrigue to the story.
Previously, Lee Sang-woon left a strong impression on viewers in the SBS drama "Phantom Lawyer", where he portrayed Jo Chi-yeong, a psychopathic police officer driven by distorted paternal love and madness.
Meanwhile, "The Long Shot Trial" is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
