His agency claimed, "We work together but he didn't say it first so we didn't' know".
His grandfather was in the steel business but Lee wanted to do things on his own as an actor so he didn't tell anyone. He is also quite simple and laid back so he doesn't seem the type.
The late chairman Kim Jong-jin and Lee's grandfather was a 'steel man' who was in the business for more than 30 years. He was appointed chairman for Dongguk Jekang in 1998 but died in a helicopter crash in 2001.
Lee Sang-yeob debuted with the SBS drama "A Happy Woman". He then starred in SBS "Midas", jTBC "I Live in Cheongdam-dong" and more. He was recently in the KBS 2TV drama "Nice Guy" as lawyer Park Joon-ha.
Meanwhile, Lee is taking a break and looking for a new project.
