Singer Lee Seung-chul will visit Chad on Sunday to build a school in one of the world's poorest regions. A press release from his agency said Tuesday Lee will join efforts to build schools by Good Neighbors, an international humanitarian and development NGO.
Lee's family are expected to accompany him.
Lee was inspired by watching a TV program about the project last year and will donate profits from his concert tours and sale of CDs for the school. Last year, the late actor Park Yong-ha took part in the project to build another school in Africa.
Lee's eldest daughter, who is studying fine arts, is going to present paintings to the school. Lee's visit to Chad will filmed for TV and aired on SBS in May.
