According to MyDaily on the 19th, Lee Jong-won-I has confirmed his appearance in the upcoming drama "Men of the Harem".

Lee Jong-won-I will play one of Bae Suzy (Latil)'s male concubines. The role was initially cast with Lee Soo-hyuk, who had even begun filming last month, but he later departed the project due to a series of circumstances. Lee Jong-won-I has since been finalized as his replacement.

With this project, Lee Jong-won-I will appear in three consecutive Netflix productions. Following "The Facade of Love", starring Lee Dong-wook and Jeon So-nee, and "Fall in! Love", starring Park Hyung-sik and Park Gyu-young, he will also join "Men of the Harem", meeting viewers through Netflix next year.

"Men of the Harem" is a palace romance fantasy about an empress who takes male concubines into the imperial court in order to maintain her position as emperor. Alongside lead actress Bae Suzy, the cast includes Shin Seung-ho, DEX, Kim Dan-II, and Yoo Jung-hoo.

Hwang Jin-yeong, who wrote "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People" and "My Dearest", is penning the script, while Lee Eung-bok, director of "Descendants of the Sun", "Mr. Sunshine", "Sweet Home", and "Dear X", is at the helm.

The series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix next year.
