Lee Sung-wook plays Jeon Nak-gyoon, the director of a shooting department, in SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "The Winning Try".
Jeon Nak-gyoon (Lee Sung-wook) is a teacher, but his own safety is more important than students', and he makes irregularities in the entrance examinations for his position and pressures Lee Ji (Im Se-mi), a contract coach in the shooting department, with a brazen attitude. In addition, he is causing anger as the best villain of Hanyang Sports High School by doing his best to kick Ga-ram (Yoon Kye-sang), the coach of the rugby department, out of school to get on the vice-principal's line.
Lee Sung-wook proved to be an indispensable character in "The Winning Try" with his passionate performance that realistically saved the fast-changing moments of Nak-gyoon's character.
In the Netflix series "Aema", Lee Sung-wook is showing off his powerful acting as another character. In "Aema", he played the role of Choi Jang-sil, a government official, and made an impact by playing with Goo Jeong-ho (Jin Sun-kyu), a representative of Shin Seong Films. Lee Sung-wook's performance, which gave strength to his looks with his burgundy suit and full-back hair, gave people goosebumps and added immersion to the play.
