Lee Young-ae wins best actress at Sitges film festival

Actress Lee Young-ae, who starred in the movie "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" (directed by Park Chan-wook), won the Best Actress award at the Sitges International Film Festival of Catalonia 2005, which ended Oct. 18 in Spain.
The Sitges festival, which is in its 38th year, is one of the three leading fantastic film festivals along with the Brussels and Fantasporto festivals.
"Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" was invited to the Official Fantastic section of the festival this year. The Best Picture award went to the U.S. movie "Hard Candy", directed by David Slade.
Last year, the winner was Park Chan-wook's movie "Oldboy".
