On February 25th, at the closing ceremony for PyeongChang Winter Olympics, Lee Hanee performed the ChoonAengMoo, which is the only solo performance in the traditional court dance in Korea. ChoonAengMoo is performed with restrained movement, expressing the longing heart for spring and the beauty. Lee Hanee accepted the request to perform the dance last year and prepared about 3 months for the performance.
Regarding her performance, she shared, "I participated with grateful heart as I was given this opportunity to share the beauty of Korea on a stage where the whole world was watching. This Olympics opened under the slogan of "Passion. Connected".. It was a precious time to see the light as all of us unite in one heart and see the hopeful message that Korea can rise once again. I hope everyone could gain strength from this [Olympics] and can be proud of being a part of our country. I want to thank everyone".
