Moon Geun-young to Appear in "The Mutation"

Director Shin Su-won's new film, "The Mutation", tells the story of Se-oh, who has been constantly explaining his birth and nationality due to his appearance, seeking someone to travel with by offering luxury carriers and unidentified items as compensation.

The film stars Han Hyun-min and Lee Zoo-young, while Moon Geun-young and Lee Jung-eun will make a surprise appearance. Both actors are said to have become friends due to their relationship with director Shin Su-won. Moon Geun-young has worked with director Shin Su-won for the movie "Glass Garden" and Lee Jung-eun for the movie "Hommage".

Moon Geun-young, who has been active for more than 20 years since she was a child, had a long break since the drama "Catch the Ghost" in 2019. Since then, she has been giving updates on her one-act play "The Breakdown of Memory", directing short films, and attending awards ceremonies in 2021.

Most recently, in October last year, she drew attention for her first acting activity in a long time. She made an impressive appearance as Oh Ji-won in the Netflix series "Hellbound - Season 2". With this work, she won the 23rd Director's Cut Awards New Female Actor in a Series Award.
