Mun Ka-young Considering, "Scent of the Night"

Actress Mun Ka-young is currently considering a role in the historical romance drama "Scent of the Night".

On the 8th, reports surfaced that Mun Ka-young would be joining the new drama "Scent of the Night". In response, her agency Peak J Entertainment, stated to Sports Today, ""Scent of the Night" is one of the projects she has been offered".

The drama, based on a webtoon, tells a passionate, tragic, and provocative story about Seo Hong, a woman in the oppressive Joseon era who rejects her predetermined fate and chooses to pursue her own desires, and Seo Jae-ha, a man who loves her but is forced to accept his destiny and hide his own longing.

Actor Lee Min-ho has been mentioned as a candidate for the male lead, and the series will be directed by Lee Eung-bok, known for creating "Descendants of the Sun", "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God", "Mr. Sunshine", "Sweet Home", and "Dear X".

Mun Ka-young has reportedly been offered the role of Seo Hong, the only daughter of the wealthiest family in Hanyang who strives to carve out her own path.

Mun Ka-young made her debut as a villain in the 2006 film "To Sir, With Love" and has since starred in dramas such as "Find Me in Your Memory", "True Beauty", "My Dearest Nemesis", and "Law and The City". Her new film "Once We Were Us", co-starring Koo Kyo-hwan, is set to be released on the 31st of this month.
