She wrote, "At first I was angry but now I am saddened by the reaction towards Seungri and Jung Joon-young".
She added, "Drugging ordinary women for sexual favors for 'domestic supply' (they can be called sexual favors, but actually it's a violation of the drug laws, rape and complicity!), proudly talking about them like they're trophies (call it 'illegal filming', but it's really Violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence), fellow men egging then on for more, laughing about it and there are even government authorities involved that helped them to maintain this kind of behavior".
"People with ordinary common sense and experience would be outraged by this. However, some say, "It's something you can do for fun when you're young, but they were just unlucky", "They are just trying to cover up something bigger, don't worry about it", and "If the progressives care about women, the young men will lose their support and lose power". I feel like I got a blow to the head".
"This is not something fun, it's a crime. It's not a novel, it's not just a statement, there are over 10 victims who are well and breathing right now. There are government officials involved who caused this to happen, too".
"What is progression? It means to put a stop to the oppression on the weak by the strong. Why are we obsessed with reign when we should be creating a safer and happier life for the people? Are women and the weak not 'the people'?"
"Women are people. Maybe most have not thought about it that way, but women have always been people. People with no money, no power, no education, different looks, different personalities and even the sick are people".
Seo Ji-hyun ended her post with, "This isn't feminism. I just want to see criminals be punished. It's just so sad and I want to leave this country".
