After news of "Come and Hug Me" courting Bae Suzy and Nam Joo-hyuk, who have both since declined the offer, not a lot was heard from the drama. The casting wheel is turning again, however, and this time Jang Ki-yong has been offered the position of the drama's male lead.

"Come and Hug Me" is about a man and a woman who have been living apart since a traumatic murder incident that took place in their past. If he accepts, Jang Ki-yong will be playing Chae Do-jin, a cheerful and optimistic police officer with a strong sense of justice.
"Come and Hug Me" is written by Lee Ah-ram ("Drama Special - Land of Rain") and directed by Choi Joon-bae ("The Greatest Couple", "Rascal Sons"). It will be following "Let's Watch the Sunset" on MBC in May.
