[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Jung Yu-mi and Lee Kyoung-mi Join Forces for Netflix's "The School Nurse Files"

Netflix is cruising through drama productions lately, and its latest sounds like a story after my own heart. The global platform will be producing "The School Nurse Files", a drama adaptation of a novel by the same name about a school nurse with a side-job of exorcism.

"The School Nurse Files" is a fantasy piece about this titular nurse who, unlike ordinary school nurses, has the special ability needed to chase ghosts. Eun-young discovers unusual mysteries in her new high school, and sets out to solve them in a novel, and comical way. Jung Yu-mi ("Live", "Psychokinesis") will take on this kooky heroine who fights spirits with a toy knife and a BB-gun.
As previously mentioned, "The School Nurse Files" is based on an award-winning novel by Jung Se-rang, who is also writing the drama adaptation. Adding to the already exciting crew attached, director and writer Lee Kyoung-mi ("The Truth Beneath", "Crush and Blush") will helm this as the PD.
The six-part series will be produced by Oh!Boy Project, the company behind "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth", as well as works like "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop", "Shut Up: Flower Boy Band" and "Flower Boy Next Door", also known as tvN's 'Oh!Boy Series'. It will be produced in 2019.
