[Orion's Drama News] Stars Go Marching In
By Vasia Orion | Published on
2018 has entered with a bang and that includes some big celebrity names returning to Dramaland for ambitious projects. We have a few such news bits this week that you can read more about and I also take a look at fresh material for "Children of a Lesser God". Between casting news, trailers and a hefty dose of stills, we have another busy week in Dramaland.

Celebrity Casting Galore
Dramaland is sure gunning for big names for the upcoming seasons, because this week has been full of high profile casting news. Jung Kyung-ho is considering "Life on Mars", because this is remake season and we cannot escape. "Life" has landed Cho Seung-woo and Lee Dong-wook while on the romance side we have Lee Sung-kyung and Lee Sang-yoon in the time-twisty conundrum that is "About Time". Meanwhile, Son Ye-jin is making a huge dive back into Dramaland and waiting for a beau in Ahn Pan-seok's "Something in the Rain".
Physics Defying Blood
Either that or the conclusion I and a Twitter friend came to, which is alien circus gymnasts being responsible for a room where the walls are full of blood, but the floor is clean. This and more along the lines of unrealistic concept pitching comes from the latest teaser for "Children of a Lesser God", introducing Kang Ji-hwan's hero and his IQ of 167. The series has also released some stills and character information on Ahn Kil-kang. I am not sure what to make of it so far, but I hope OCN can continue to impress.
Upcoming Drama Goodies
"Misty" has released stills of Kim Nam-joo followed by some for Ji Jin-hee, along with a new teaser. "Mother - Drama" has dropped new goodies as well, while "Are You Human?" flaunts its android hero in its trailer. "The Great Seducer" gets Kim Seo-hyung as a career doctor and news have Ahn Hyo-seop joining as well. "Queen of Mystery 2" has released cute stills and we have more miscellaneous casting bites. Be sure to also check out the new promotional material for "Radio Romance" and "Cross".
Followed Dramas
"A Korean Odyssey" is back on track and I am finding it quite enjoyable despite or perhaps due to my low expectations. Either way, I am having fun and that is the important thing. I am almost done with "Argon", so you will see more reviews for it this week. I need to tackle "Prison Playbook" soon, because I need my prison family badly. Who are your own latest drama darlings?
