Stills of Kim Min-hee from the movie "The Handmaiden" have been released.

Kim Min-hee plays a royal lady who inherits a tremendous amount of wealth from her parents. Other than that she lives under the strict influence of her guardian uncle, nothing else is known about her.

This royal lady is a lonely character with no parents nor friends. She is ignorant of the world but is innocent and elegant. To express the form of royalty, Kim Min-hee goes through 25 different dresses and accessories.

Director Park Chan-wook said, "Kim Min-hee completely connected with the lady character. I didn't have much to say to her as we went through the script and broke down into the character".

Meanwhile, "The Handmaiden" is the story of a royal lady with a great big fortune inherited from her parents, a count who wants her wealth, a servant and a guardian who are offered a delicious deal by the count. The movie has been invited to the 69th Cannes International Film Festival and is coming out this June.
