It is a real-life drama that captures various episodes of what an ordinary daughter-in-law goes through when she enters the in-law world. Based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Soo Shin-ji, the original work published through social media was published as a book after achieving 400,000 followers and was recognized for its popularity and workability, including winning the 2017 "Today's Our Comic Award". Director Lee Gwang-yeong (Studio S), who was in charge of dramas such as "Nothing to Lose", "The Secret Life of My Secretary" will be in charge of directing and producing a total of twelve episodes, about 20 minutes each. The shooting will begin in earnest at the end of August and will be released on Kakao TV within this year.

Park Ha-sun will play the role of Min Sa-rin, a seven-year office worker at a large company who has been married for a month, presenting the most ordinary daughter-in-law award of our time. Min Sa-rin, who has a decent job and is recognized for her ability, is a character who is motivated to achieve both 'work and family' by being acknowledged at home. She does her best to be recognized as a good daughter-in-law after marriage, but she is also embarrassed by the situation that goes differently than she thought and is stressed by the looks she gets as a married woman at work. Park Ha-sun plans to draw strong sympathy from Korean women by expressing the character 'Min Sa-rin' in a realistic way, which seems gentle and soft, but unexpectedly strong and stubborn.

The role of Moon Goo-yeong, Min Sa-rin's husband of the same age, is played by Kwon Yul. Although Moon Goo-yeong grew up watching his mother live with her blunt, patriarchal father and be sacrificed as a daughter-in-law, he also hopes his wife blends in with her in-laws as a daughter-in-law. He plans to represent a young husband in this era who, despite being selfish or plain-minded, is swept away by patriarchal family atmosphere and is torn between the two roles of 'son' and 'husband'. Kwon Yul, who has shown a wide spectrum of performances that cross good and evil through works ranging from infinite good to unprecedented villains, is looking forward to what kind of acting transformation he will make through the role of Moon Goo-yeong.

Actress Moon Hee-kyung, plays the role of Park Ki-dong, the mother-in-law of Min Sa-rin and the mother of Moon Goo-yeong. Park Ki-dong married at the young age of 22 and has lived as a housewife and daughter-in-law who was abused by her in-laws all her life. Park Ki-dong, who has been the back burner for her husband and three children, is an ironic figure who has struggled as a someone's daughter-in-law all her life but expects and demands more sacrifices from Min Sa-rin who is friendlier and responsible than her first daughter-in-law. As Moon Hee-kyung has played various roles as a mother-in-law, ranging from a large company's wife to a noble but scary mother-in-law and a housewife who dreams of a daughter-in-law like a friend, the realistic mother-in-law character that will be shown in "No, Thank You" is also drawing attention.

The production team said, ""No, Thank You" will capture the various daily lives of ordinary daughters-in-law in this era without exaggeration", adding, "Actors with bold acting skills will each charm their characters, giving them empathy, laughter, fun and emotion".
