On the 28th, KBS-2TV released the first teaser poster of the new Monday-Tuesday drama "Love Song for Illusion" (writer Yoon Kyeong-ah, director Lee Jung-seob). It features the main character, Prince Hyeon (Park Jihoon). It creates a gloomy atmosphere.
"Love Song for Illusion" is a fantasy historical drama romance. It is the story of a man with two opposing personalities and a woman who loves him. The two unfold between fresh love and terrible obsession.
The poster is powerful. Park Jihoon sits alone in the middle of a dark background. The prince and the torch and light that light up the surroundings are also noticeable in a desolate space that seems to be in ruins.
Park Jihoon looks angry as the main character with two personalities in one body. The gloom on his face makes it confusing whether he is Prince Hyeon or Ak Hee.
This is the first time as a double role for Park Jihoon. In the drama, he plays the role of Prince Hyeon and his second personality Ak Hee. They live together in one body, but they struggle to win over Yeon Wol (Hong Ye-ji).
The production team said, "We wanted to visually show the main character with two personalities in one body and the space of his mind".
Meanwhile, "Love Song for Illusion" is the sequel to "The Matchmakers". It is set to premiere in January 2024.
