"Personal Taxi" to Confirm Drama Production

The popular webtoon "Personal Taxi" will be reborn as a drama.

The production company Big In Square and StudioFlow unveiled the casting lineup on the 15th, including actors Cha Tae-hyun, Lee Jae-in, Lim Se-mi, Hyun Bong-sik, Lee Yeon-hee, Kim Do-hyunMimi-IJoo Jong-hyuk-I, Ye Ji-won, Ahn Ji-hoIm Ha-ryong, and Ye Soo-jung (episode order), along with the news of the production of the eight-part mid-form season system of "Personal Taxi".

"Personal Taxi", based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, is a human healing music drama with a normal but special story of passengers who sympathize with and comfort everyone in the background of a suspicious taxi that only picks up reservations.

Jeon Chang-geun, the director of the Korea Creative Content Agency's "2025 OTT Specialized Content Production Support (IP Security Type)" project, takes the megaphone, directing the dramas "The Queen of Office" and "What Happens to My Family?"

The production was jointly conducted by Studio Flow, which created the Netflix series "The Frog", and Big In Square, which was recognized for its planning power with the anthology project "The Killers" last year.

It also signed a joint production contract with Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV. Through this contract, the company plans to expand into remakes or exports in global markets such as Asia, North America, and Europe.

Meanwhile, "Personal Taxi" is scheduled to begin filming in September, to air in 2026.
