To mark the 200th anniversary of Romantic-era pianist and composer Clara Schumann's birth, the tour is titled "My Clara". The program includes pieces by Clara Schumann, her husband Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms.
It is Sunwoo's first tour in Korea since becoming the first Korean to win the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, one of the world's most prestigious piano competitions, in 2017.
Sunwoo has won eight international competitions, the most of any Korean pianist. But he said he will try not to indulge in accolades, but keep working on what he's doing. "I want to show a more serious side of me as a musician instead of resting on my laurels", he said at a press event in Seoul on Monday.
Sunwoo will travel to 10 cities, starting with Ulsan on May 16.
