Directed by Byun Sung-Hyun ("Kill Boksoon", "Kingmaker", "The Merciless"), "Good News" takes us back to 1970, where an unexpected alliance forms to land a hijacked plane against all odds. In a desperate bid to save the hostages and prevent a diplomatic disaster, a shadowy fixer known only as Nobody (Sul Kyung-gu) brings in elite Air Force lieutenant Seo Go-myeong (Hong Kyung). Under orders from the Director of Korean intelligence Park Sang-hyeon (Ryoo Seung-bum), Go-myeong has to double hijack the plane from the ground. As egos clash and strategies unfold, the group must outsmart the hijackers before time runs out.

The newly released teaser offers a taste of the film's tension and intrigue, hinting at a covert operation where truth and lies blur. Viewers also get a glimpse of Gimpo Airport's transformation into Pyongyang Airport, and the intricate mind games at play in a situation where "sometimes, even the truth lies. And lies also tell the truth". As the characters navigate deception and danger, the film asks: Can a lie lead to the truth - and will the news be good in the end?

"Good News" is set to deliver a fresh mix of suspense, clever twists, and standout performances, only on Netflix this October 17.
