"The free concert was recorded as having the largest number of people dancing to 'Gangnam Style' at the same time in Korea", PSY's agency YG Entertainment said on Monday. The institute came to the conclusion after thoroughly reviewing video footage, pictures and media coverage.

YG Entertainment plans to submit the record to Guinness World Records. PSY's "Gangnam Style" video was previously recognized by the organization for having the most likes on YouTube.

Meanwhile, PSY is set to release his new album "Gentleman" on April 12 and perform in Seoul the next day.
