Rain Announces Global Ambitions on CNN

K-pop star Rain's ambitions to take on the world became international news on Saturday when he announced them on CNN's "Talk Asia".
Rain told the cable news channel about his ambition to make it on the world stage after sweeping in Hong Kong, China, Japan and elsewhere in Asia. The 23-year-old star said his personal motto was, "Be humble, be patient, and do my best".
"Talk Asia", hosted by Lorraine Hahn, who was born in Singapore to a Korean father and a Eurasian mother, has focused on heavyweights including former Korean president Kim Dae-jung, maestro Chung Myung-whun, soprano Sumi Jo, Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and Chinese film director Zhang Yimou.
Rain gave the interview on Oct. 9 in Hong Kong while on a concert tour there. The show airs seven times in all, the last time at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
