Rain nominated for Time 100 List

K-pop superstar Rain has been nominated as one of the candidates for the world's 100 most influential people by U.S. news magazine Time.
According to the weekly, Rain is listed in the "Artists and Entertainers" category, along with nine other illustrious figures including director Ang Lee, singer Daddy Yankee, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, actress Zhang Ziyi and actor George Clooney.
The top 100 list has five different categories: "Heroes and Icons", "Scientists and Thinkers", "Leaders and Revolutionaries", "Builders and Titans" and "Artists and Entertainers". Other Koreans to make the list are stem cell scientist Hwang Woo-suk, Samsung Group Chairman Lee Kun-hee and North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.
Voting for each category lasts one week and votes are being taken in the Artists and Entertainers category this week.
