[Ratings] "The Item" Earns Lowest Rating to Date

MBC drama "The Item" broke the record for lowest viewer rating again.

According to Nielsen Korea nationwide, the episodes of "The Item" on the 4th rated 2.6% and 3.4%. The numbers went down again from 2.8% and 3.8% compared to the previous episodes.

"The Item" is a fantasy drama based on an original webtoon about a prosecutor (Ju Ji-hoon) and a profiler (Jin Se-yeon) who dig up the truth and schemes surrounding something with supernatural powers. However, it's not enough to satisfy the viewers who have likely become accustomed to high budget Hollywood and Western films such as "Harry Potter", "The Avengers" and "The Lord of the Rings".

KBS 2TV drama "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho 2: Crime and Punishment" rated 4.3% and 5.9% while the SBS "Haechi" rated 4.9% and 6.4%.
