A remake of the movie "Rikidozan", starring Sul Kyung-gu, will open in Japan in March of next year. Unlike the previous version, which opened in Korea last December, the new version features many Japanese actors, according to the movie's production company. In fact, Seol has recently visited Japan to re-dub his lines in Japanese.
"Rikidozan" was initially to open concurrently in Korea and Japan, but its opening in Japan was postponed due to a problem at the Japanese distributor, and until recently, no one knew for sure when the movie would hit Japanese theaters. "We are late with the opening but we are preparing thoroughly for it", said a person from the production company.
Seol's agency says the actor is considering visiting Japan in March of next year as the Japanese media is showing great interest in the movie. "
