Actor Shim Woo-sung plays the passionate youth president in "Queen of Tears".

Shim Woo-sung was cast as Park Seok-hoon in tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Queen of Tears", the agency People Entertainment said on the 6th.
"Queen of Tears" is a drama about the love story of Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won), the third generation chaebol of Queen's Group, and the queen of department stores, and Baek Hyeon-woo (Kim Soo-hyun), the son of Yongdu-ri, and the supermarket prince..
According to Human Entertainment, Shim Woo-sung plays Park Seok-hoon, a youth president who has a dream to bring new wind to Yongdu-ri in the drama. Baek Doo-kwan (Jeon Bae-soo), the father of the main character Baek Hyeon-woo, will have a heated competition for the position of Yongdu-ri village head.
Shim Woo-sung appeared in a number of Netflix original series such as "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area - Part 2", "Somebody", "Narco-Saints", the drama "Vincenzo", the movies "Project Wolf Hunting", "Emergency Declaration", the plays "Laundry" and "First-Electure".
"Queen of Tears" will premiere at 9:10 PM on the 9th.
