Son Hyun-joo's thriller "The Phone" beat "The Martian" and made it to the top of the Box Office.

According to the Korean Film Council, "The Phone" brought in 97,174 people on the day of its release.

Thriller flick "The Phone" is about a man who struggles to change the result of his wife's murder a year ago".

Second in the Box Office came "The Martian" with 65,373 and the accumulation being 3,413,561. "The Exclusive : Beat the Devil's Tattoo" came in next with 64,493.
