Photos and a 3-minute trailer show some of the leading actors in the Chinese-speaking world such as Tony Leung, Zhang Ziyi and Chang Chen, along with Song.
Dressed in a traditional Chinese qipao, Song appears both melancholic and mysterious to build curiosity about her role in the film.
"The Grandmasters", which Wong has spent a decade getting on to the big screen, is a biographical portrayal of Yip Man, the man who taught Bruce Lee kung fu.
It will be released worldwide on Dec. 18.
