Jang Joon-hyeon miraculously recovered his memory from the accident and talked to Choi Choon-hee who was still unconscious. Joon-hyeon said, "Are you alright? Sorry I'm late. This is yours" and then he put a necklace around her neck.
Jang Joon-hyeon pretended to be not fully recovered in front of Yang (Kim Hye-ri) and Park Soo-in (Lee Se-young). He watched them from afar to protect Choi Choon-hee since Yang was waiting to get his hands on her.
At the same time, Jang Joon-hyeon initiated his counterattack. Firstly, he said to Soo-in, "If anyone came after Choi Choon-hee, it wouldn't have mattered, but if someone was after you, my love, then I would've had to hunt them down until the very end". Park Soo-in had caused a commotion during a concert which put Choi Choon-hee in danger.
Jang Joon-hyeon then told Yang, "Something's been bothering me. I was curious, so I went to the concert hall, but the CCTV had been stolen. The cell phone I sent for repair is also stolen. I need to find out more. I can't stand it when I don't know the answer to something, so I'm going to find out till the end".
Park Soo-in and her mother trembled in fear of him finding out everything.
