On the thirteenth episode of the SBS drama "THE CHASER - Drama" on the 9th, Baek Hong-seok (Son Hyun-joo) gave a final blow to Kang Dong-yoon (Kim Sang-joong) at his father's barber shop.

Sin Hye-ra (Jang Shin-young) hit detective Jo (Park Hyo-joo) with her car and used her life as bait to make Baek stop the press conference. He did so to save her life first. However, he wasn't so easily defeated this time.

Baek asked for three things for PK Joon's (Lee Yong-woo) cell phone. He asked for the release of prosecutor Choi Jung Woo (Ryu Seung-soo) who had to take responsibility of everything since the press conference was cancelled and the treatment of detective Jo and chief Hwang (Kang Shin-il). Also he asked for 3 hundred million won for smuggling.

Baek told Sin Hye-ra, "I can't live in a country where Kang Dong-yoon is president. I am going to leave the country tonight and I need 300 million won in cash" and left on a boat in front of her eyes. However, he appeared in front of Kang Dong-yoon later on.

At the end of the episode, Baek appeared at the barber shop belonging to Kang's father. He called Kang's name where Kang though was safe to relax. He was sitting there without a single bodyguard.
