[Spoiler] "What Happens to My Family?" Yoo Dong-geun's reason for hiding cancer from doctor son

On the thirty-fifth episode of the KBS 2TV weekend drama "What Happens to My Family?", Cha Soon-bong (Yoo Dong-geun) confessed everything to Cha Kang-jae (Yoon Park).

Cha Kang-jae had known about his father's cancer and asked why he didn't tell him before. He begged for Cha Soon-bong to go to the hospital with him, but his father told him not to tell anyone.

Cha Kang-jae said, "No. I want you to be checked so I can see it myself. Why do you do this to me? Do you feel good doing this?"

"I am a doctor. Your son is a doctor but why would you hide this from me?" Cha Soon-bong said, "I am your father. How can I burden my own son with such a truth? How can I tell you my end is near? I can't do that to you".

"I don't want to be remembered by you three as a sick father. I wanted to be a proud dad until the end. So don't worry about it. I am fine. I'm sorry" said Cha Soon-bong.
