T-ara Poised for Japanese Debut

Korean girl group T-ara is debuting in Japan with an exclusive 350-million-yen contract with J-ROCK. The agency said it wants to groom T-ara as all-round entertainers, not only as singers but also as actresses and show hosts.

They will perform at a showcase at Shibuya-AX, which seats about 2,500, on July 5. T-ara debuted in Korea in July 2009, and besides working as singers they have been active in TV commercials, dramas, and movies.
