Kwon So-hyun-I is a rookie who was invited to the 68th Cannes International Film Festival.
The host made the mistake of introducing her as Kwon So-hyun-I from 4Minute but she's actually a talented actress.
Kwon So-hyun-I's eyes glistened with tears during an interview. She said, "I feel like crying still and I want to be able to come back again. I've only done muscials and plays before I did "Madonna"".
She claimed she only played roles like the clown of a show star due to her big build. "I've appeared in "Hair Spray", "Grease" and other musicals and sometimes I even played a man before. There's a limit to what a chubby actress can do".
Meanwhile, "Madonna" is female director Shin Su-won's 3rd Cannes movie starring Seo Young-hee, Kim Myung-min and Kwon So-hyun-I. It deals with the subject of temporary workers and single moms. The movie will be released on the 25th.
