"The Kidnapping Day" is an emotional buddy thriller. It is a story about a clumsy kidnapper and an 11-year-old genius girl meeting and working together in a special way in the world.
On this day, the actors were perfectly immersed in their characters. I was said that they heated up the scene with a thorough acting battle.
First, Yoon Kye-sang plays the clumsy and weak-hearted kidnapper Kim Myeong-joon. While attempting to kidnap to pay for his daughter's hospital, he is chased as a suspect in murder.
Yoon Kye-sang showed off his genius in transformation. It is a dynamic expression of a character who looks silly but is honest and paternalistic.
Park Sung-hoon performed enthusiastically as Park Sang-yoon, a homicide detective. He is a person with quick judgment and sober analysis. He comes across an unexpected secret.
Yu Na was chosen for the role of Choi Ro-hee after breaking the competition ratio of 500 to 1. She was recognized for her strong acting skills even at a young age, turning everyone's expectations into conviction.
In the drama, Ro-hee is a genius girl who has lost her memory. Unlike a child, she has a calm, extraordinary brain. She creates a strange bond with Kim Myeong-joon.
Kim Shin-rok plays Kim Myeong-joon's ex-wife Seo Hye-eun. She is the one who proposes the kidnapping of Choi Ro-hee. She gave off unrivaled chemistry at the scene of script reading.
In addition, high-end actors will appear. Kim Sang-ho (Park Cheol-won), Seo Jae-hee (Mo Eun-seon), and Kang Young-seok (Jayden) appear to show their acting skills.
The production team said, "The actors' passionate performance and synergy were great as expected. You can look forward to the birth of an emotional birdie thriller on a different level".
It added, "We will have no choice but to fall into a dense story that stimulates unique laughter, emotion, and reasoning skills of "The Kidnapping Day"".
Meanwhile, "The Kidnapping Day" is scheduled to air in the second half of this year.
