Director Yoon Seong-sik started off by introducing everyone of the cast and staff and expressed his happiness of being able to show everyone the result of his 2 years of hard work. He also thanked the cast for participating in his project.
The concept of the drama and the fancy cast made the script reading seem like a war of the stars. Seo In-guk takes on the leading role. Lee Sung-jae and Jo Yoon-hee are in the roles of Gwang Hae and Seon Jo Kim Ga-hee. The middle aged cast helped with the flow of the drama and added intensity to the drama.
Full of vigor and humanism, with Seo In-guk as Prince Gwang Hae and Lee Sung-jae as Seong Jo, created an intense room and bone chilling atmosphere.
Jo Yoon-hee and Seo In-guk's eyes glistened with tears as they acted out an affectionate scene.
The passion coming from everyone stood out and the drama is expected to be more 3-dimensional and interesting.
"The King's Face" is about Gwang Hae who is born the child of a concubine but rises to the throne as king.
The drama is coming in November after "Blade Man".
