It has been 10 years since the late singer and actress Yoo Chae-yeong passed away.

Monday marks the 10th anniversary of Yoo Chae-yeong's death. She died of stomach cancer on July 24th, 2014, at the age of 41. Ten years have passed since her death, but her bright smile still remains in the hearts of the public.

In October 2013, nine months before her death, Yoo Chae-yeong was diagnosed with terminal gastric cancer and underwent surgery, but her health did not improve due to the spread of cancer cells to other organs. Yoo Chae-yeong later underwent chemotherapy and continued her broadcasting activities before her life ended.

Meanwhile, Yoo Chae-yeong debuted in the music industry with the group Punsudul in 1989 and began her career as a member of the mixed group Cool in 1994, drawing attention not only for her shaved head-style but also for her unique concept outfits. Since then, she left Cool in 1995 and worked as a member of Earth, and then as a solo singer in 1999. In 2002, she appeared in the movie "Sex Is Zero" and began to draw attention as an actress and has since been active in dramas "Fashion King" and "The Fugitive of Joseon".
