Actor Ryu Seung-ryong is funny but terrifying at the same time.

"The Piper" starring Ryu Seung-ryong challenges the actor once again as Woo-ryong, the piper. On the way to Seoul to help his son Yeong-nam get better from a lung disease, he detours into a strange village and drives out the mice from the village in order to make money for his son's treatment.

He's got the fatherly love and cheekiness as well as bone-chilling when it comes to driving out the mice. He shows many different faces in one movie. Ryu Seung-ryong suggested the idea of using a dialect which wasn't even in the scenario and came up with a unique one of his own. He practiced the flute for 100 days and didn't even need a music sheet in the actual scene.

Ryu Seung-ryong said, "Woo-ryong is a fun, innocent and hard working person as a father, a musician and a peasant. He gets angry when someone doesn't keep his or her promise and he knows when to be sad. It was a special experience to act out Woo-ryong who has almost every bit of emotion in him".

"The Piper" is based on the motive of "Peter Piper" and the movie is being released in July.
