"The Winning Try" Expresses Condolences Over Song Young-kyu's Passing

The production team of "The Winning Try" expressed their condolences for the sad news of the late Song Young-kyu and announced a minimum editing policy.

On the afternoon of the 4th, the production team of SBS's Friday-Saturday show "The Winning Try" issued an official statement, saying, "The production team of "The Winning Try" deeply sympathizes with the sad news of the deceased".
The production team then said, "As I said in the previous statement, "The Winning Try" is a pre-production drama, and we were editing it to the minimum extent that it does not harm the flow of the story, only for the later half of the drama, except for the amount already received in global OTT".
Song Young-kyu was found dead in a car in a residential complex in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, in the morning of the same day. He was 55 years old, and no suicide note was found at the scene, and there was no suspicion of murder. Police are currently investigating the exact cause of his death.
