According to the Patent Information Retrieval Service, Kang Daniel's English name, "Kang Daniel", was applied for the patent on April 15 by a man living in Gwangju, and is awaiting examination.

The patents include 29 types of designated product codes, including singer performance, performance planning, entertainment/ culture/education event hosting management, record making, and celebrity-related fan club services.

The problem is that Lee, who applied for the trademark, is a third person who has nothing to do with both Kang Daniel and LM Entertainment.

However, it is expected that applications for patents will not continue as a waiver is being received. Kang Daniel's side is planning their course of action.

Meanwhile, Kang Daniel has filed an injunction with his agency, LM Entertainment, to suspend the exclusive contract. The interrogation date for Kang Daniel and LM Entertainment was originally scheduled to take place on May 5, but has been postponed.
