Uhm Hyun-kyung to star in TV Chosun "Shut Up and Smash"

According to sources, "Shut Up and Smash" is considering Uhm Hyun-kyung for a leading role in the latest drama by director Kim Byung-wook .

"Shut Up and Smash" is a sitcom about a family that's struggling to survive, living with the in-laws, and dreaming of getting back up on their feet. Uhm Hyun-kyung's cheeriness is expected to bring in life to the drama.

Director Kim Byung-wook has decided to work on "Shut Up and Smash" for the first time in three years. The direction is done by Kim Jung-sik-I and it is written by Lee Young-cheol who also wrote "High Kick Through The Roof".

Uhm Hyun-kyung has been in various dramas like "Rainbow Romance", "Single Wife", "Mother's Garden" and more. She's made a reputation for herself and she's also a permanent member of the KBS TV show "Happy Together 3".
