Uhm Jung-hwa and Song Kang-ho, promotional ambassadors for the Daejong Awards

Actress Uhm Jung-hwa and actor Song Kang-ho have been chosen as the faces of the Daejong Awards (Grand Bell Awards).

Lee Gyu-tae the chairman of the Daejong Awards Organization, Nam Goong-won from the General Federation of Korean Films, Song Kang-go and Uhm Jung-hwa attended the press conference held at Lotte Hotel in Seoul on the 28th.

Song Kang-ho said, "Thinking about the source of the development of Korean movies, there're the directors and casts but most of all, it was the love of the public. Thank you".

Uhm Jung-hwa sad, "Thank you for supporting Korean movies and don't forget it's all thanks to you, the directors, the staff and cast".

Song Kang-ho added, "There are several film festivals and awards but the Daejong Film Festival has history and tradition. That's why everyone is working so hard and it means a lot as an actor too".

He also made everyone laugh by adding, "I am going to hold Uhm Jung-hwa's hand for the development of Korean movies and the success of the Daejong Awards".

Meanwhile, the Daejong Awards is being held at the Seoul KBS Hall and broadcasted live on KBS 2TV.
