Actor Um Tae-goo will join the new drama "I Am a Sinner".

As a result of YTN Star coverage today (29th), Um Tae-goo will appear in the drama "I Am a Sinner", based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Lee Moo-gi, which has been serialized since 2022.
The drama "I Am a Sinner" is a crime noir that takes place in the 1980s in a lawless city full of money and crimes, when the devil 'Paenggi' and 'Raw Chicken' who are desperate for survival, risk their lives to enter the business.
Um Tae-gu was offered the role of 'Raw Chicken' in the drama. 'Raw Chicken' is a person who survives only with strong evil and hoops, and finally rises to the position of leader of the action. He is also a pure-minded person who even sacrifices his life to protect the woman he loves.
Um Tae-gu, who debuted in 2007 with the film "Epitaph", appeared in films of various genres such as "Ingtoogi", "Coin Locker Girl", "Minority Opinion", "The Age of Shadows", "Taxi Driver", "My Punch-Drunk Boxer", "Coin Locker Girl" and "Cobweb".
He also played an active role in a drama. From 2010 to 2014, he appeared in various episodes of KBS 2TV drama specials and strengthened his acting skills. In OCN's "Save Me 2", he played the main character Kim Min-cheol, who challenges false beliefs.
Last year, he enjoyed his second heyday with JTBC's drama "My Sweet Mobster". He shed his sincere image and highlighted his cute and innocent side through his first romantic comedy series.
