According to Newsis on the 28th, KBS 1TV's new epic historical drama "The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won" announced that actress Ye Ji-won was tested positive for COVID-19 the previous day.
"The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won" official said, "Actress Ye Ji-won is expected to have been infected after a contact with a COVID-19 confirmed patient at another schedule on the 24th", and explained, "She has not been in contact with "The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won" production team and actors since filming on the 23rd".
According to the production team, Ye Ji-won is currently in self-quarantine after canceling her schedules. Other scenes are being carried out first except for Ye Ji-won's parts, which were scheduled for the previous day.
The production team said, "We expect Ye Ji-won's self-isolation to be released around December 7th, 10 days later", adding, "So far, we have been doing our best to prevent the spread through regular PCR tests, quarantine and fever checks.
