"Hwayi : A Monster Boy" took over first place in the box office for two straight days.

According to the Korean Films Commission, "Hwayi : A Monster Boy" came in first in the box office with 126,547 audiences. The accumulated number is 494,464.

"Hwayi : A Monster Boy" is about a boy with 5 criminal fathers going through conflict with them after discovering a shocking truth.

What stands out is the macho change in the young actor Yeo Jin-goo.

Meanwhile, "Hope" came in second with 63,742 and "The Face Reader" came in third with 22,330.
