Yim Si-wan, Kang So-ra to Promote Trade

Yim Si-wan and Kang So-ra have been named promotional ambassadors for the trade industry, according to the Korea International Trade Association on Thursday.

The two have been gaining popularity due to their roles in the soap "Misaeng: Incomplete Life" on cable channel tvN.

The soap, which revolves around a high school graduate who works at a trading company after failing to realize his dream of a professional baduk or go player, is drawing an explosive response from salaried workers who relate with the show's characters. It has also brought much attention to the trade industry itself.

Yim Si-wan and Kang said that they've come to learn about the hardship of salaried workers and that they will do their best to raise awareness of the importance of trading.
