Yim Soon-rye's "Little Forest" to cast Kim Tae-ri

The Association of Korean Independent Film&Video is celebrating its 18th anniversary this year. Independent Film Exclusive theater Indie Space, Seoul Independence Film Festival, Seoul Art Cinema, Indie Forum and other organizations study independent film policies, production support and distribution. It aims for independence from authority by shedding off conventional formulas.

Kim Tae-ri is starring in Yim Soon-rye's "Little Forest". It is based on an original comic and she takes on the role of Hye-won, a woman who leaves the troubling city and moving down to the countryside. The movie cranks in next January.

A new web-movie produced by Shin Hyun-joon will be written by Jeong Hyeong-don. The title is yet to be made but this is a SF comedy worth 10 billion won (~US$10 million). It's a collaboration with New Power Films and will start being made early 2017.
