Yoo Ha Casts Joo Jin-mo alongside Zo In-sung
Korean auteur cineaste Yoo Ha added rising star Joo Jin-mo to the ranks of his royal historical drama; tentatively titled Ssanghwajeom ("A Frozen Flower"), after an old song from the Korean historical Koryo dynasty. JOO joins Zo In-sung who is onboard from the beginning of the Opus Pictures project.
JOO will tackle the role of a youthful charismatic Koryo king. JO will portray a royal bodyguard who is favored by the king. The story will deal with love and betrayal to offer an insight to human nature. The female lead, a queen besieged by the Koryo king and his men, has not been cast yet.
Yoo Ha also directed JO in his previous film, the acclaimed gangster drama "A Dirty Carnival". JOO latest films were "A Love" and "200 Pounds Beauty".
