Yoo Yeon-seok cast for "Gu Family Book"

Yoo Yeon-seok is attempting at his first historical in the upcoming MBC drama "Gu Family Book".

According to King Kong Entertainment, Yoo Yeon-seok is starring in the historical drama as Park Tae-seok, a cold and cynical character who is rivals with Lee Seung-gi. He is also outstanding in martial arts and sword fighting.

Yoo Yeon-seok said, "I wanted to try out historicals before and I am happy to have the chance".

"It's an honor to be able to work with director Sin Woo-cheol and writer Kang Eun-kyeong too".

"Gu Family Book" is about a half man-half beast struggling to become a human being.

It is directed by Sin Woo-cheol from "Glory Jane", "Bread, Love and Dreams" and "Secret Garden" and Lee Seung-gi and Bae Suzy take on the main role.
