The drama "The Kidnapping Day" is a special collaboration between the clumsy kidnapper Kim Myeong-joon (Yoon Kye-sang) and an 11-year-old genius girl Roh-hee. Myeong-joon is a first-time kidnapper who kidnaps a girl to pay for his daughter's hospital bills. He is suddenly chased as a murder suspect due to an unexpected incident. For some reason, the truth tracking of the kidnapper, who is lacking 2% but is human and weak-hearted, and the girl who is smart, is expected to be fun and touching.
Yoon Kye-sang said, "The material was interesting", adding, "I look forward to the harmony between Myeong-joon, a clumsy kidnapper, and Ro-hee, a genius girl".
It is based on Jung Hae-yeon's novel of the same name and it is written by Kim Je-yeong. It will be directed by Park Yoo-young. It is made by Ace Story and scheduled to air next year.
