"The Boy in the Last Row" is based on a Spanish play with the same title written by Juan Mayorga. The story is about Moon Oh (Choi Min-sik), a professor of Korean literature, who is fascinated by the writing of his student Lee Kang (Choi Hyun-wook), who sits at the end of the classroom, and faces his forgotten aspirations and desires.
Han Ji-eun is known to have been offered the role of Seon Min-hee. The curiosity about Seon Min-hee that Han Ji-eun will portray grows.
