Actress Han Ye-seul returned to Seoul Wednesday, two days after she left for the United States following an abrupt departure from a lead role in the KBS drama series "Spy MyeongWol".
Although her actions have caused a rupture in the drama schedule, she showed confidence in her decision to leave.
"I want to believe that I did the right thing", Han told reporters at Incheon International Airport.
She arrived around 4:55 p.m. and met with around 100 reporters who had been waiting to hear her side of the story.
"I feel sorry for having caused any concern. Now I believe people have an understanding of the harsh conditions we TV actors face at work", she said.
She urged the parties involved in enhancing the working conditions of actors.
She left the airport with her managers and declined to comment on the possibility of a return to the show.
The 30-year-old actress has stirred controversy when she didn't showed up for filming following a dispute with Hwang In-hyuk, the producer of the drama.
